So I live near Princeton, and am forced to commute through it on a daily basis. This in and of itself is not horrible, because it is a nice town. The campus is beautiful, there are magnificent homes in the surrounding area and the overall feel for this college town is one of quiet money. I don't do my drinking here because the drinks are overpriced and the clientele is too blue for my tastes. Sure, I'd have fun laughing at the liberals as they try to explain to me how awesome Krugman is, despite the fact that he was never a success in his area of expertise, which is economics. He sure can write theory that doesn't work, that's for sure.
So I'm on my way home, coasting to a light on my way out of town. There's a lot of cyclists on these streets, which doesn't bother me at all. I'm all for pedal power if you live in a location that's biker friendly, and this is the perfect town for it. But as I'm coasting to this light, there are 2 cyclists ahead, and they aren't hugging the curb at all so I'm guessing they're going left. Sure enough, they proceed to cut in front of me, without even thinking there might be a car on the main drag through Princeton. Now, there's a left turn lane here, so I'm expecting them to park in the left turn lane so they can make the left without any kind of traffic hazard whatsoever, and also abiding by traffic laws. Makes sense, right?
Well, they don't go there. They proceed to cut across to the other side of this relatively narrow intersection, and stop, side by side, on the corner. I'm not talking about being on the sidewalk mind you, but they have their front wheels sticking into the oncoming traffic from the left, and they're blocking about 5 feet of a scant 12 foot lane on the right. I'm amazed. I mean, they had a whole turn lane to themselves, and I know they're waiting for the light to cross, but they're blocking the damn corner. I had to say something, so I rolled down my window with a "HEY!" but they don't think I'm talking to them. Then, they proceed to kiss, ignoring the oncoming traffic, the guy that's trying to make a right around their hipster-liberal asses, and the entire universe around them. My head explodes. "HEEEY! YOU FUCKING DUMBASSES BLOCKING THE INTERSECTION!" At least they stop kissing to stare slack jawed at me for a second. "WHAT THE HELL IS THE MATTER WITH YOU?? HAVE YOU NEVER HEARD OF TRAFFIC LAWS? ARE YOU TRYING TO GET YOURSELVES KILLED?" Their response of course is to put their fingers up to their skulls and do the twisty motion meaning that I'm the crazy one. As they block the intersection. In oncoming traffic. From both directions. While kissing. Since they didn't say a word, I'm just assuming they didn't speak English and thought I was just yelling at them for kissing in the middle of a goddamn intersection. Also, nobody in America has used the 'he's stupid' twisty finger motion in about 35 years.
So I'm the bad guy. Yet this thing happens all the time around here, because that's what liberal cities are, havens for people who are the first to proclaim that they're your intellectual superior, regardless of the fact that they're completely blind, stupid and arrogant. Why should they obey traffic laws? Why should they be courteous to others? Why should they even care that YOU care? They give nothing other than their disdain for the beliefs, faiths and attitudes of everybody else who doesn't share their worldview. THIS is why this country is on a path to ruin because of the liberal mindset. They don't want laws to interfere with their existence, but they'll be happy to legalize their beliefs and impose them on you. They don't want to obey laws that apply to them, but will make up lies to fit their world-view to make you look like the bad guy. They don't care about anybody else but themselves and are more than happy to explain to you why that's better than you and your beliefs. I'm so sick of their smug bullshit I just want to ship them all off to some hipster compound in upstate NY and let them rot there.
Needless to say, this one simple example of 2 inconsiderate cyclists has stuck with me for my short commute home, but it resonates with me on how horribly pathetic the mind of the 'blue' voter is. They dont' believe in equality and righteousness for all, only what will make them feel better themselves. I'd say they should be ashamed of themselves for the ultimate in vanity, but it won't be me who judges them in the long run. I would hope that they are the ones sitting at a light 20 years from now, wondering how 2 people could be so stupid, but if they maintain their liberal mindset they will never, ever see that they are the ones causing the problems, not solving them.

Ramblings....
The worst thing you can do to yourself is to convince yourself that you have something pertinent to say when you've been drinking. Ha. Well, maybe not pertinent, but thoughts abound and that's what a blog is for. Here we go!
Music is an interesting muse. She takes us in her warm embrace and allows us to forget about all the crap for a while. As the music takes us to whatever plane makes us happy, we drift... but then... the song ends. Reality comes back, even if only for a second. But that second is crammed with all that I have consumed myself with, which is... what's going to happen in the next 4 years, no matter who gets elected? I'm not so sure that this is just about the economy anymore, that the rise of 1.5 billion Osamas could be quite detrimental to the peace and stability of the World, not just the Middle East. No disrespect to Islam (at the moment at least), but if not a single one of the 'Hey, Not All Muslims Are Violent' crowd doesn't show up to put the bad boys in the corner, well, frankly I'm not convinced that the 'Religion of Peace'* is doing it's job on the peace department.
Seriously. I have my own religion, and it's pretty awesome. But, I'm not gonna say what it is, or who gave me the idea. I'm not going to tell you ANYTHING about my religion, because if I do, then you'll form an opinion about it, and to be honest with you, I don't want your opinion. My religion is awesome, thank you very much. I'm not gonna kill you over it, but if you continue to use your religion as an excuse to harm innocent people, then seriously, you have to go. My religion believes in strength of character, not of domination of those weaker than you.
Speaking of weak, how about them reporters? Oh? Very few left? Surviving in caves? I'll try to sneak some food out to y'all while the biased opinion folk duke it out on CNN, MSNBC, FOX, ABC, CBS, etc. You ALL should be ashamed of yourselves. The poison that you spew to the masses every m%^&*^&*ing day is preposterous. Do any of you realize that NONE of you report the same damn fact? Sheesh. Oh, that degree for 'finding truth' Journalism thingy that you are all supposed to have? Just use it to check your engine oil, because that's what your supposed 'degree' is worth to the civilized world nowadays.
Speaking of factchecks, hey Democrats, could you stop using only the facts that make you look good? Frankly, the '27 months' of job growth and Clinton touting success when he inherited a strong economy is riding the back of the elephant. Don't use claims of growth when the one thing you've grown the most every single chance you've had is government programs, union benefits and spending for the poor. I don't mind the spending for the poor, but for public officials to make over 6 figure all the time and to get paid for it the rest of their lives without having that money invested in the private sector is why we're in this mess to begin with. Stop with the government cheese already.
Last but not least, I love this country, I love all of you who read this, and I love my Mom and her pierogies. If you think you have a better pierogi, well, you don't. Comment if you do. We'll talk.

Howdy!
As I suspected, I just can't sit here and not have some venue to vent how I feel. Sooo, here we go again. This time, I think I'll embrace the punditry and keep this blog in the political ring. I'm soooo tired of reading horrible articles from left wing media about how eeeeevil republicans are. I'll do my best to provide, to the best of my ability, the facts. If you have a beef with my facts, that's fine. If you have proof to back up your claims, even better. If you prove me wrong, hey, I'll be the first to admit I was wrong. Good luck with that.
About me, I have a lot of faith and love for humanity. We are brilliant, funny, sexy, interesting as well as perplexing and sometimes just juvenile. However, people tend to forget that the world does not revolve around them, and sometimes we all need to talk about it. The source for my motivation is the 9/11/12 Embassy Murder. For all the technology, beaurocracy, money, stupidity and sheer ineptitude our government throws at not doing the right thing, I only hope that this year's 'change' is about hiring new people to get this car-that-is-still-apparently-in-the-motherf*cking-ditch out of the ditch. Sheesh. Spinning our wheels for 4 years and adding program after program of bloated money sinks is not how you grow as a society when you can't pay for it. We're so screwed if we don't do anything about it and it's not gonna be pretty.
Oh, Mr. Krugman... I think it might even be 'Doctor', but since everything you've ever said has never been proven to work, your status as some kind of economic genius is sorely suspect. I enjoy reading your fawning worshiper's comments after your articles, because they only confirm that you are wonderful... not that what you said is valid, effective or even sound. Ever.
No idea why I went there, but I guess for my first work to pick on the dear economist is just due. I can't believe people pay that hack.
Think that's enough for now. I'm off to Pittsburgh for the weekend to watch the Steelers play the Jets in what'll be my first NFL game live. I can't believe it, to be honest, I've been to professional Soccer games. See NFL? Your ticket prices are way too high. Regardless, go Steelers!
Stay strong America, no matter which side of the fence you may reside on.
